Although Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice is typically the Fall season favorite, we are particularly fond of and start craving the warm flavors from cinnamon. Steamy Sweet Potato Goodness

Steaming or boiling sweet potato is a quick and easy way to add this healthy carbohydrate to meals.   Boil sweet potato: Add peeled and chopped sweet potato to a pot of lightly salted water. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer for 15-20 mins, until tender when poked with a fork.  Will store in the fridge in a tightly sealed container for 3 days. Finger Guard - To Keep Your Fingers Safe!

In the past I have been known to accidentally slice a finger or two while in the kitchen. There are so many uses for silicone muffin cups. Here are some of our fav's:  Baking! Of course. Depending on the thickness of the silicone it can be a bit of trial and error at first as a thicker silicone can bake more quickly than paper or a greased pan.  Serving kiddos snacks. As we are getting into the routine with back to school, granola was on the list for a healthy snack that is easy to prepare in a big batch.
